I haven’t bought anything although I did do an online order with Coles, I didn’t complete it. Plenty of time for that over Good Friday, there are no deliveries until Easter Saturday anyway, and this way,I get to rethink what is in my cart and can remove items I shouldn’t buy health wise. You’d be surprised at how much you save by doing this!

Currently building up a grocery order for tomorrow's delivery. Cupboards and freezer are actually rammed full, but minor basics (yoghurt, hummus, deodorant...) are missing. Annoying, but at least it will be cheap.

Groceries Cappuccino Present for my sister: cherry preserves, a little handmade bag, some cocktail napkins (she always gives me cocktail napkins, so why not). We just give each other little things since anything we need we pretty much just buy, and anything we don't need is just adding to the clutter.

plastic bags to store winter woolens in, in my ongoing fight against the demon moths some storage rack things for the cupboard under the sink a new mattress topper - very expensive but apparently you're supposed to change them every five years and it's been more... all purchased from my couch

Davis… I think that’s where there is whole program for wine making.. from the growing to the chemistry end of things..might be a good stop if there is a campus tasting room!!

Yes! There's a major wine-making program there; good idea. Plus there's an entomology museum!
Unfortunately my schedule has me there on a Sunday in the middle of August, which is a pretty bad time to expect college things to be open. But we shall see.

Ordered a new external backup drive for my computer - see FWP.
Had a delicious order of handpulled chinese noodles with lamb in cumin sauce for lunch.
Made a quick hit after lunch at Trader Joe's for fruit - oranges, bananas, black- and blueberries - plus yogurt and pineapple juice.

a mystery vase.
I put it on my insta, but no one else seems to know what it's for. It has a hole at the top with a cork, and in the side, there is a wide-mouthed but little compartment with a cork cover as well.
Oil and Salt vase?
Ah. Google says it's a wine decanter with an ice compartment!

True! But if you're in Dupont Circle, you might's well go to Teaism for okonomiyaki....
I also bought some on-sale praline Easter eggs, for which the shipping price was roughly equivalent to the sale price, but they look very tasty, so....

Tatte started in Boston and there are lots of their restaurants now. I love'em!
I was so glad when two opened about the same distance from me in two directions, so I can drop in on a couple of different routes while I'm out on my rounds.

They are good! I just get unexcited about the restaurants that are really near my office, like oh but I want to go someplace INTERESTING.
We end up there a lot: it's where we go when it's raining, or it's hot, or we're in a hurry, or someone's knee hurts, or we all have errands to do afterwards, etc. We were all on our way to a pan-Asian street food place when it started raining, and we were like "oh well let's ditch that idea and go to Tatte"

I bought a microwave.. our old one died right before the weekend so I waited until today. It’s one of the ones which are above the range. It will be delivered and installed hopefully by Friday.

A shower stool. I’ve been wanting one ever since the new bathroom was built, but there was never enough in the budget. This week, Aldi had exactly what I wanted on special. ($50) I stopped on my way home at their downtown store, but they had already sold out. The very nice manager phoned the manager of the store closer to home, and their manager put one aside for me. Excellent service, Aldi. Assorted random groceries while I was in Aldi. A set of Lego people, also in Aldi.

Funny you should say that, Ozzie - I thought the same thing, realised a shower stool would be most helpful and it’s a toss up between Big W and Amazon Australia. There’s a difference of price and delivery. Amazon cost $6 more but will be delivered tomorrow, Big W is $6 less and will be delivered between April 8 and April 18. Decisions, decisions…
