I just finished Homeland Series 1 - just great.
I have a minor obsession with Daryl/Norman Reedus in The Walking Dead. I may have to get help.

Breaking Bad is epic, possibly the best show ever (and what I'm currently watching) Game of Throne True Blood - slightly soft porn esque but....they are so pretty. Dexter is great if you haven't watched it. Criminal Minds is a constant - I love it. The Big Bang Theory Bones - I used to watch this a lot, but have lost track and missed a few seasons

Saw "Elementary" the other night for the first time, it's an update of Sherlock Holmes set in modern times, with Lucy Liu as Watson.
Looks very promising....

Saw "Elementary" the other night for the first time, it's an update of Sherlock Holmes set in modern times, with Lucy Liu as Watson. Looks very promising.... really? I've been thinking the ads look crap, plus the fact it is on Ch 10 here has me automatically thinking rubbish.

I had the same reaction, Hal. But then, that could just be the crappy CH10 ad people putting a crappy promo together. I didn't like the look of Good Wife either, based on the ads, but I really like it now that I've seen it.

Elementary is great ... watch it! Big Bang Theory.... may as well join the crowd. Community... I just discovered it. Delightfully, totally mad Dr, Who...I am a bigtime fan, and can hardly wait for the new season to start. I don't think i have shed so many tears ever as i have shed during that show....except for TORCHWOOD... I loved it. It's a grown up's Dr. Who... and i didn't know the Doctor had a fling with Captain Jack. When? The best mmini series was Children of Earth... Bones... i really liked it, but it's getting a bit stale For some reason (possibly a conflict) I never got into Downton Abbey, but I am beginning to watch. My most guilty pleasures are the talk shows... The View, The Talk, Anderson, Dr. Phil.... there. I admitted it. I like most things British, but i have a lot of trouble trying to figure out Little Britain.

No I don't think The Doctor had a fling with Captain Jack but Captain Jack certainly fancies the Doctor

LOVED Friday Night Lights (you don't have to be a football fan to enjoy it) Also, love Community (must figure out when it is coming back on) ditto lots of the above - New Girl, Big Bang etc .... but to be honest, it is so hard to find something to watch

webs, I watched the first episode of Ripper Street but I didn't go back for episode 2. It was oddly gory, which doesn't usually bother me (I love Silent Witness, do you get that on BBC America?),
I'm currently obsessed with Borgen - BBC4 are showing ep5&6 of season 2 tonight but I think season 3 has already been broadcast in Denmark.
Silent Witness has got less interesting since the handsome Dr Harry Cunningham left but still worth watching.
I love love loved The Hour - both the first and second series were great, the costumes and set design were glorious.

Mad Men, Downtown Abby, The Borgias (about a Pope back in the days), Brothers&Sisters, Borgen as well as I think it's really well done.
Some classics never fail even though I've seen them a million times: Allo Allo, Green Wing, Falty Towers.
There are some pretty good Belgian series which I really liked, not subtitled though so I won't mention them.

Ripper Street, I cant get over how bad the main character's acting is. It just bothers me.
I used to like Silent Witness back when I had a tele. Maybe I'll try it again on iPlayer.

LOVED Friday Night Lights (you don't have to be a football fan to enjoy it) I really wanted to like this show since so many people recommend it but the shaky and odd camera angles distracted me through the few episodes I watched!

Ripper St is just far too gory and craply acted for me.
I'm loving Bones at the moment, but am wondering if it's all abit tired now. Just love the characters so much!
For the non-Brits who like Dr Who, try Sherlock Holmes (the British TV series). I thought that was brilliant.

i recentlyl lhave found myself being sucked into a really weird NZ series called The Almighty Johnsons. Its about Norse gods reincanated into the bodies of contemporary New Zealanders, living (sort of) ordinary lives... I mean talk about weird!
