I just had liver casserole. It was nice, but I don't feel satisfied. I want something else but I don't know what.

Microwave chicken jalfreezi and vegetable samosas.
I would've ordered takeaway but this was the more restrained option.

I've made a huge healthy sausage casserole for the next few days. YUM! In the meantime, however, I've had a big bowl of home made chicken soup which wasn't that good. It is also the fourth day it's been on the stove (boiled it right up every day) so if I drop dead of food poisoning, can someone make sure the soup is tested?

I think it might be bacon and waffels night. It's been a weird long day and I didn't sleep well.

Have some American chop suey and some BBQ chicken and corn bread. And some green salad. I'm generally not a fan of leftovers but I've been learning to appreciate them.

I'm working on the Scottish principle of having a permanent soup pot on the cooker. My Dad claims that if you boil it up properly every day it's fine..... I'm not 100% convinced today!

Milk Duds. Surely they're the cure for the common cold?
I would love to know how to make healthy sausage casserole, please.

I'm eating 2 minute noodles, because my stomach has been funny for days, and there is a bug going around. Noodles were about the blandest thing in the house. I don't dare eat all the lovely fruit in the fridge.

My aunt is visiting and brought in takeaway food for our lunch. I don't know what happened -- while eating the chicken, I started to feel really, really grossed out and ended up throwing up a few minutes ago. Wasn't one of you posting about this a few months back?

God nuts, I just threw up my orange juice and croissant. weird. Was it the meat that made you hurl?

Oh you guys, I hope you stop throwing up soon. And I'm glad that viv has survived... that kinda scares me too to be honest.
I just had a bowl of cinnamon flavored Kashi things and a café au laît.

I keep a pot of stew on the hob or on top of the boat for a week sometimes. Never been sick (apart from just now on a croissant)

It was the meat! I just felt very sick while eating it. You find oranges repugnant?

ha, no. Morning make me vomit sometimes though. No idea why. Been like that forever.
Someone did post recently about being turned off meat. I think it was Viv.

I've left soup out for a night but my apartment is so hot I wouldn't do it here. Who knows what nastiness would grow?!

ha, no. Morning make me vomit sometimes though. No idea why. Been like that forever. I was like that until I was about 20. It was awful! I still avoid eating breakfast for hours after I wake up... Just in case.

Dog and I shared liver and green beans. He looked at me like I was evil incarnate when he received a tiny morsel. It's not that good for him.

The kitchen only goes above 15c when I'm cooking. Otherwise, it's usually cooler than that. The soup seems to be fine - my dad's done that for years!
I did struggle with meat for a while, and am still intermittent about it. I occasionally get a picture in my head of eating animal flesh and picture what it is, if you see what I mean. My mate is a vegan so it's all her fault!
The healthy sausage casserole:- low fat sausages (I use Weight Watchers cumberland sausages) potatoes carrots turnip onions (any other veg you like) chicken and / or veg stock cubes
Cook the sausages on a grill (my George Foreman is good for this) to get shot of all the fat you can Chop the veg into large chunks Boil the vegetables up When they're cooked, drain the water into a bowl or pot and keep it Chop the sausages into chunks a similar size to the veg or bigger Chuck it all into a casserole dish Put the veg / chicken stock cubes into the vegetable water (retains the veg flavour then) Pour the stock into the casserole dish, cover and put into the oven (I used gas mark 6 ) for about 30 mins or so.
Very little fat, lots of veg, I use no-salt stock cubes so limited salt in the dish, and it's TASTY!

I have "italian wedding soup" for lunch I have no idea what that is. Mmm, Italian wedding soup. Q - it has a clear broth (usually chicken), with greens (usually escarole, kale, or spinach), small meatballs, and small pasta (like orzo, acini di pepe, pastina).

ha, no. Morning make me vomit sometimes though. No idea why. Been like that forever. I get like that, too. My doc said it's low blood sugar and to sip on a little glass of OJ first thing in the morning. It's actually helped a lot. I still can't eat, but I don't get hot and nauseous/puke.
