They've shown up in our office--the end is nigh! Luckily I only like one type of GS cookies and it wasn't one of the four boxes left in a common room today.

I somehow managed not to eat them ALL.
Dinner is a chicken leg; golden beets, fingerling potatoes, and carrots roasted in olive oil; salad; the last of the rice from the other day's goat biryani; a tasty IPA; and eventually, ice cream.

Yum, sounds good mei.
Had noodles with thick gravy last night - a thai dish with rice noodles and chicken and a variety of vegies in a thick gravy made with stock and tapioca flour. You add condiments so it tastes the way you want it - usually chilli, fish sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, lime juice and a bit of sugar.

About to go out and meet my friend for a lovely lunch at the local hipster cafe. Last chance of peace before the school holidays! (also a bit of a celebration/commiseration as she's been told her job won't be renewed after the end of this month)

Boo about job.
I recreated a version of lunch on the ski slopes of Austria circa 1982 for dinner last night.
Soup with knackerwurst. Yum.
