No I don't. Was trying to work out a way of letting her know without putting the name of this place up - thought of sending her to one of the other boards so we could PM her, or else telling her to go through photoblog.

Thanks Webs for taking the time to set this up. I'm hoping there is no big corporate giant behind the curtain who can pull it at any time. That whole biz sux and it is not worthy of further comment. I like the therapy room being passworded.

ha, looks like I wasn't the only one to pm zonne on the mp anyway, i have a question - like the new skin, but it seems that the number of posts on a page is now less than before? (eg the 'roll call' thread is now 10 pages instead of the 5 it was yesterday) Is there a way to adjust that , that you can chose how many posts you want to see on a page? I've been looking at modify profile but can't find anything there.... ta! |

had a look, maybe we've just been very chatty, as I can't find anywhere to up the reply count for each page. Or I could be missing something, it is a few wine glasses into the evening.

Googleability was been deactivated upon creation, shil.
So no, you won't be found through searching.
Figjam, figjamnation do not come up in searches on the engines I've tested it on.
google, bing, aol, and safari

Just a heads up- you can change the look and feel of the site if you so choose. Here's how:
1) Go to profile, then modify profile, then scroll down towards the 'account preferences' area
2) there will be a drop down list of all the skins I have made. You can select the new one.
3) When you hit 'modify profile', the skin automatically changes to the one selected
There are presently 3 to choose from: Figjam (sort of girly), Soom Soom (minimal, grey/blues), and Succulent (minimal with greys/plums)

FigjamNation also does not come up in a DuckDuckGo search.
You can also go into your profile and change your screen name to have an initial capital letter. Just go to the "Display Name" and make the change.
I changed the skin to Succulent just now and it looks nice.

I find that having tabs in Google Chrome makes it easy to toggle between here and the Stew.
It's like being able to be on WT and YC at the same time.

I have a tech question and i don't know where to put it, so I chose here:
When you're at the bottom of a thread, is there a way to jump back to the forum? Or do you have to scroll back to the top? I don't see a 'Return to General Discussion' button, am I just being blind?

Just a heads up that the General Board has now been set that you have to log in to read and post. The LIbrary and Travel are still open so any lurkers or members who aren't logged in may find it. This may change when we work out what we are doing and if we are likely to get any 'unfriendly visitors' that have created havoc for some posters in the past.

Hey guys... yep you are right Pero, we were not intending to publicise FigJam, but yes ethelmerz has posted it - dammit!... im not really sure what we can do about it altho the changes that Kate made (#56) should hopefully help us keep out the trolls/ shit stirrers.
BTW i dont know who ethelmerz is, but i am assuming one of our members or invited must have told her about our existance... she wouldnt have known we didnt want to post the address publicly.
