Meanwhile, the King is limiting appearances in crowds due to infection risks, which is incredibly sensible when undergoing cancer treatment, but everyone else doesn't exactly get that luxury if they have to go to school or work etc.

The government run Covid Dashboard will end next week.
So yeah, it's all over. Clearly nothing to worry about.

I read the Kind and Camilla will go to church for the Easter service - clearly there will be crowds? Not that I care particularly about the royals, mind.

Yeah, but he was skipping the Holy Thursday one, and apparently the numbers are cut back for Sunday? Still, with Camilla having gone on Thursday it doesn't make a huge amount of difference.

All the isolation restrictions were removed ages ago, but you're "encouraged" to isolate.
Although at my company you'd be kicked out the door I think, and told to go home and recover.

Same here. If I would test positive and have no symptoms my manager would want me to work from home - if I have symptoms I would obviously call in sick. Actually, with no symptoms I would not test so would have no clue so the point is really mute.
I still haven't tested positive / had Covid in all these years - I know I don't have a huge exposure to many people in my private life, but as my trainer said, I am really exposed to anybody he is in contact with... He's another one who never tested positive though at one point his wife and kids had Covid, but were not too ill, so he slept at a friend's place - both being self employed it was important for them that he can keep working. I know it's been a tough few years for them financially, even though he never complains, I can do the maths. He just started up his PT business again in January 2020 so got zero government help as he wasn't self employed the year before. At least he finally put his rates up, he refused to raise them for the clients who stuck with him throughout Covid, working out remotely or outdoors during lockdown even when we had over 10% inflation - I knew new clients paid quite a bit more, and still do, I argued a lot with him when inflation was so high as I knew they needed to remortgage - once even transferred a higher amount for my sessions, but he send the difference back - stupid stubborn lovely man. His wife is a hairdresser and does my hair, so I got my way a bit by tipping her stupid amounts (haircut is £30 and I tipped £30). I mean, they have two kids, and I can easily afford it!
